AIDSCare is proud to announce the 6th Annual Bar AIDS in Chicago on Thursday, August 27, 2009! Joined with six cities in the United States, Bar AIDS is an up and coming, innovative, and successful HIV/AIDS benefit. Last year Chicago raised over $30,000 to benefit AIDSCare and helped raise HIV/AIDS awareness to thousands of corporations, neighbors, and friends.
The way it works? Participating Bars will donate a portion of their evening’s proceeds to AIDSCare. In exchange for participation, AIDSCare will promote the Bars during the months leading up to the event via print, web and electronic communications.
We will also assign Volunteer Ambassadors to invite friends and family to their Bar the night of the event. The Ambassador's responsibility is to promote the assigend Bar and to sell Raffle Tickets as an additional fundraiser for the agency.
